Otto von Berlin: Don’T Be Afraid Of Darker Colors.
Gregor Drobnic is from Slovenia, but he lives and works in Berlin.
After studying classical architecture, he found his true passion in interior design.
That’s how his adventure started: to express your feelings at your best, you should find a place that allows you to do it, so Gregor decided to take the first step to change his life.
Gregor Drobnic moved to Berlin and he started his career working for an interior design studio.
After a while, he soon felt the urgency to be independent, to express himself and his own style, so he started a new path as Personal Furniture Shopper, and after gaining experience, he founded his studio: Otto von Berlin.

Here, a brave theme works everyday to deliver to their clients the project of their dreams.
Otto von Berlin is not a simple interior design studio, they define themselves as a creative space.
They offer a wide range of solutions: from counseling to product design, Otto von Berlin listens to its clients and help them to express clearly their personality and their features, in order to integrate them with the studio’s style.
In Otto von Berlin, they work with interior design projects at different levels: for bars and restaurants, apartments or offices.
If they work with a brand, planning a store for example, they try to bring its story and message.
What’s really unique and typical in Otto Von Berlin is its dark tones and industrial pieces, mixed up with softer materials and wood furniture. He loves dark tones so much to create his own style called “Dark Scandinavian” style.
He mixes high-tech with vintage and loves get furniture in vintage shops.
Gregor Drobnic‘s motto is “DON’T BE AFRAID OF DARK COLORS”: he likes to bring a little bit of Berlin in every project.
Usually, in order to seek inspiration, he likes to take long walks in the city of Berlin, where he says it’s possible to find inspiration at every corner.
